Our work in this area includes taking bankruptcy proceedings, applying for the rescission or annulment of bankruptcy orders, dealing with challenges to the decisions of trustees, examining bankrupts and those able to give information about the bankrupt's affairs and advising on creditor claims. It also includes advising on the realisation of assets (including those owned jointly with others) actions to set aside gifts or transactions at an undervalue, preferences in favour of creditors, fraudulent transfers of property and the administration of insolvent estates of deceased persons. We have advised on and assisted Supervisors in the implementation of many proposals for Individual Voluntary Arrangements and we also have experience of dealing with the complex provisions of the Insolvent Partnerships Order 1994, which deal with bankruptcy, liquidation, administration and voluntary arrangements in the context of Partnership Insolvency.
